Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases: Assessing the Feasibility of Investments in Ukraine

The "Act for Health" project commissioned an assessment of investments in NCDs to better understand the economic effectiveness of interventions in the prevention and management of NCDs, as well as to plan project activities in the coming years. The results show that additional investments in expanding political and clinical interventions will lead to a significant reduction in the disease burden in four areas of project implementation in Ukraine—fewer people will suffer from the specified NCDs, and those who are ill will live longer and better on average.
