Training courses on the application of PEN protocols

In June, a series of training sessions began, where primary care specialists are improving their skills in combating NCDs.

During the two-day training sessions, doctors will exchange experiences and also:

- learn how to improve teamwork and the rational distribution of responsibilities between family doctors and nurses;

- practice their skills in counseling people in communities on healthy behavior;

- develop the use of various tools for the management and prevention of non-communicable diseases;

- review a number of practical cases and exercises on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, etc.

This winter, we have already prepared teams of trainers for four oblasts where training on the implementation of PEN protocols will take place.
