Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of morbidity, disability, and mortality worldwide in general and in Ukraine in particular. NCDs place a significant burden on national economies and have a substantial impact on people's quality of life.
It has been proven that the vast majority of NCDs can be prevented through relatively simple measures, but this requires cooperation between specialists from different sectors and the active involvement of citizens.
Today, the issue of NCD prevention and control is on the political agenda. Planning, implementing, and evaluating NCD measures requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of approaches that will allow this to be done quickly and efficiently. This training course systematizes information on the main areas related to NCDs. You can take it at bit.ly/427aaUa
The information is divided into 9 topics and 29 modules, grouped into five blocks:
1) introduction to NCDs;
2) approaches to epidemiological surveillance and research methods in the field of NCDs;

4) policies and strategies in the field of NCD prevention and control;
5) NCDs in the context of armed conflicts, disasters, and natural disasters.
