During the implementation of the Healthy Libraries project, we have repeatedly seen that libraries in different communities have a significant impact on their residents.
Twenty public libraries in Ukraine have already received knowledge and resources for educational work with people on healthy lifestyles and the prevention of non-communicable diseases.
These libraries have become health centers where anyone can:
▪️ find a book on health topics that interests them;
▪️ attend events and learn important information about health from invited specialists;
▪️ visit 'health corners' where they can check their blood pressure and blood sugar levels or use sports equipment.
To share this experience with other communities, the Living Modern Library - Library Country Foundation has prepared a special handbook with practical advice and inspiring stories.

We hope that this experience will be useful for communities that want to improve the health of their population.
