The first module of the Leaders for Public Health course took place

30 participants from different parts of Ukraine were selected from 192 applications
The first module of the Leaders for Public Health course took place.

During the first module:

  • we discussed the global context and public health strategy,
  • improved leadership skills in crisis situations and planned strategies in times of change,
  • examined our own values and formed organizational values,
  • discussed mental health and resilience

The panel session “Prevention and control of non-communicable diseases as a priority of the public health system in Ukraine in emergency situations” was attended by Dr. Jarno Gabicht, Head of the WHO Office in Ukraine, Ihor Kuzin, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine, Nataliia Husak, Head of the National Health Service of Ukraine, Petro Ilkiv, Project Coordinator at the Swiss Embassy in Ukraine, and Halyna Maystruk, Project Manager of “Act for Health”.

The training course is organized by UCU Business School and One Health as part of the «Act for Health» project in cooperation with Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève and with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine
