Regional «Active Forum: Healthy School - Healthy Community» held in Poltava Oblast

The active forum brought together regional leaders, heads of local education authorities, principals, and physical education teachers from secondary schools in the oblast.

During the forum, participants discussed:

- promoting an active lifestyle in communities;

- developing school sports and physical training for children;

- launching the «Healthy Ukraine» student leagues and the «Side by Side» school leagues;

- maintaining the physical and mental health of students within the «Healthy School» project.

Twenty-one partner educational institutions in the Poltava oblast participating in the «Act for Health» project received sets of sports equipment to make physical education classes more interesting and leisure time more active!

The forum was held with the support of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the Department of Education and Science of the Regional State Administration, the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Scientific Institution «Institute for the Modernization of Educational Content,» and Poltava State Agrarian University.
