Training workshop for physical education teachers held in Rivne

During the workshop, participants:

- expanded their knowledge about promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing non-communicable diseases among students;

- learned how to engage communities in active lifestyles;

- explored effective ways to increase the physical activity levels of students, teachers, and parents;

- designed models for lessons, sports events, educational cases, and integrated courses using the «learning in motion» methodology;

- learned how to reduce anxiety and counteract stress through physical exercise;

Thanks to sports equipment from the «Act for Health» project, teachers will be able to continue practicing new sports. During the seminars, they also took up:

- lacrosse;

- American football;

- rugby;

- cheerleading;

- dodgeball;

- petanque;

- handball.

And we are not stopping there! Next in line is the organization of training seminars from Healthy School in other oblasts of Ukraine. Already in February, physical education teachers from the Poltava oblast will join the inspiring and health-promoting training.
