Healthy school

From June 17 to 20, the Healthy School Camp was held in Lviv Oblast, a health week for educators from Dnipro, Lviv, Poltava, and Rivne oblasts whose schools participate in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine's innovative project, the Healthy School Model.

How to organize the learning process so that there is always room and time for movement? How to make physical education lessons exciting and fun?

«Healthy School - Healthy Community» is the slogan of the first regional active forum. The event is aimed at popularizing an active lifestyle, creating conditions for children's physical training and developing daily school sports.

The Ukrainian-Swiss project Act for Health and UkraineActive have launched a series of training events that brought together more than 70 representatives of educational institutions around the topic of health.

On May 12, with the support of the «Act for Health» project, a forum «Hear the Doctor. Healthy Child - Healthy Education» took place in Lviv.

On February 29, the «Active Forum: Healthy School - Healthy Community» began in Lviv.

Results of the work and developments following the strategic session.

The team of chef and ideologist of the Cult Food project Yevhen Klopotenko presented an updated collection of recommended recipes for children's meals in educational institutions, which was developed in support of the School Nutrition Reform Strategy, which is being implemented at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska. The collection consists of more than 600 dishes and allows to further diversify the nutrition of students in Ukrainian schools.

As part of the Act for Health project, Yevhen Klopotenko and the Cult Food project team created a podcast dedicated to the School Food Recipe Collection.

On February 7, 2024, Poltava State Agrarian University hosted a three-day active forum «Healthy School - Healthy Community» for heads of local education authorities, principals and physical education teachers of general secondary education institutions in Poltava Oblast.

In total, the project supported 74 partner educational institutions for more than UAH 4 million.

Smiles, joy and physical activity did not stop in schools even during the war.
