A children's office called «Island of Health» was opened in the Lubny community

Who would have thought that visiting the doctor could be fun?

The Lubny community in the Poltava oblast has changed this perception by transforming its primaryhealthcare center into a fun play area for children called «Health Island»!

There, young visitors can take part in interesting activities with games and exercises. They can alsodo a variety of exercises:

- with a fitball to strengthen the muscles of the spine, torso, and limbs;

- with balance beams to train balance;

- exercises to develop fine motor skills;

- on orthopedic mats to prevent diseases and foot deformities;

- a set of visual exercises to prevent vision problems;

- breathing exercises on yoga mats.

The “Health Island” is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and aims to:

- prevent diseases of the musculoskeletal system, vision and respiratory organs in children;

- improve children’s psycho-emotional state through work with a psychologist or psychotherapist;

From now on, visiting the doctor is not just a medical procedure, but a real quest for little explorers. Thanks to special educational toy sets, a fountain with filtered drinking water, and video broadcasts with exercises, visiting the doctor has become a real adventure! ✨

It is no surprise that since the project was launched, 767 young patients have already used the services of the office, and their number continues to grow! And we continue to work to raise healthy children and a healthy nation!
