It is important to ensure the availability of accessible and well-designed spaces where children can enjoylearning new activities.
Our pilot communities have already started working on a mini-grant program, and most of them plan toset up spaces for physical activity.

To make these spaces beautiful, functional, and inclusive, we turned to the experts at Playinq, anarchitectural and research initiative focused on children's urban spaces.

Together with the community team, the architects discussed the needs on site and documented what is currently available. The experts have already developed visualizations and plan options, from which the community will choose the most suitable option.

The architects have already visited the Sofiivka community in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast, as well as the Sokilnyky, Sambir, and Raliv communities in the Lviv oblast. This week, they will visit the Dykanka community in the Poltava oblast.

To make this experience useful not only for the pilot communities, we plan to prepare samples of typical solutions that other communities can use in their own practice.

We are happy to share with you the result of the first visualization of the future playground for the Sofiivka community.
