«Sport is trendy, sport is cool,» believes the Sambir community in Lviv Oblast, where a project with the same name has been implemented. Its goal is to increase physical activity among all age groups, from children to adults.

The popularity of sports in the Sambir community

For this purpose, a new outdoor sports ground with modern exercise equipment was opened, createdthanks to talented architects from Playinq and funding from the mini-grant program of the Ukrainian-Swiss project «Act for Health».

The following activities were also organized:

- three sports competitions;

- dissemination of information about the benefits of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle through local media;

- sports activities in community schools.

The playground has become a favorite place for many community residents, especially teenagers,women, and men over 60.
