Organization of rehabilitation services in the Lubny community

The war affects everyone, but certain groups of the population are in particularly urgent need ofrehabilitation services 💔

To help people, the Lubeny City Center for Primary Health Care decided from the outset to organize access to such services at its facility.

Together with the Lubny branch of organizations for people with disabilities, a lot of work has already been done:

• equipment necessary for providing rehabilitation services was purchased;
• training for medical workers was conducted;
• Nordic walking poles were purchased so that people could attend such classes after completing a rehabilitation course.

The project team actively informed the residents of the Lubny community about the prevention of non-communicable diseases through social networks and other community resources.

In addition, 39 visits by doctors were made to areas where internally displaced persons live in compact communities.

As a result, diagnostic services were provided to 688 people.
